Er Patlolla Ram Reddy graduated in Civil engineering in 1975. He then joined the I&CAD department as a Junior engineer and retired as a Superintendent Engineer from Irrigation Circle Hyderabad in 2011. During his tenure, he has held various positions of responsibility including President of Telangana Assistant Executive engineers, President of Graduate Engineers’ Association, President of Hyderabad engineers Association.
He was the Secretary General for AP Engineers Federation, a registered body – an Apex body of service associations of all core engineering departments and also Vice President for INDEF – Indian Engineers Federation, a membership of more than 4 lakh engineers. He is also a recipient of the Hon’ble Governor’s Award for conducting blood donation camps.
Post retirement, he has been actively involved with Telangana Retired. Engineers Association as its Associate President, and is one of the core members of Strategic Initiatives Team, with respect to irrigation projects that assist the government of Telangana in re-designing and re-engineering.
He is currently working as senior consultant for the Projects div of Engineering Staff College of India, ESCI. He is a fellow of the institution of Engineers, life member of Indian Roads Congress (IRC), life member Red Cross Society.
He is the founding member of St. Paul’s High School Alumni Association, and is currently holding the position of Vice president. He is a team player and has vivid skills of managing people. His networking and influencing skills in the government sector would take the association a long way.
He strongly advocates the importance of water conservation Mission through ‘Jala Nidhi’ program, and practice the concept of ‘Har Ghar Green’.
He had the privilege of accompanying the Vice Chancellor of Osmania University to USA in connection with the Centenary Celebrations during May-June 2017.
